I’m Raising Funds for Amnesty International by Hiking the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia!
Story
I have committed to take part in Amnesty International's 7-day hike in July 2015 through the mountains, valleys, rivers and desert landscapes of Central Australia.
This commitment includes 1.) the challenge of daily training leading up to the hike – already begun, and 2.) the 7-day hike itself, along with a small group of fellow hikers. We are doing this in order to raise awareness and much needed funds for Amnesty International Australia; to assist them in their tireless stance against those facing injustice and abuse around the world.
Please help me raise vital funds to hold warlords and dictators accountable, free prisoners of conscience, promote respect for Indigenous peoples and boldly, ambitiously defend human rights in every corner of the world.
I am passionate about the work that Amnesty International is doing to defend human rights and sincerely hope you will join me by clicking on the green button, ‘Donate’, to make a secure online donation (your donation is tax deductible in Australia).
Together we can make a difference!
On behalf of the those helped through Amnesty's amazing work, thank you for your support!
Activity
Amnesty International Australia
Amnesty International believes in equal human rights for all. Amnesty International Australia is part of the global movement of more than 7 million individuals committed to defending those who are denied justice or freedom. We work in Australia and around the world to stand up to injustice and protect those facing abuse. To do this, we mobilise people, campaign, conduct research and raise money for our work.
